BV ENTERTAINMENT GOES TO DAYS OF DARKNESS
AND THE RUE MORGUE MAGAZINE PARTY
May 22 & 23, 2004

With the film market in Cannes behind us, it was time to focus on promoting THE HALFWAY HOUSE in the US. Our first step was to make an appearance at the Days of Darkness: A Celebration of Horror convention. We shared a table with artist Frank Dietz (who will also be co-writing our upcoming film PREGGERS), where we ran our trailer, signed autographs, and talked to many friends and fans.

Directors Eli Roth (CABIN FEVER) and Mick Garris (THE STAND) stopped by, along with indie fimmakers such as Jeff Burr, Rolfe Kanefsky, Dave Parker, Dennis Petersen, Duane Whitaker, Roy Knyrim, and J.R.Bookwalter.

Saturday night, we were invited to a private party thrown by Jen Vuckovic and Rod Gudino, editors of Canada's #1 horror publication, Rue Morgue Magazine. The location was our favorite bookstore, Dark Delicacies in Burbank, CA. Owned by Del and Sue Howison (who introduced us to Mary Woronov), it's a great place to shop for all things genre - books, clothing, jewelry, toys, DVDs, and collectibles. This evening, it was filled with industry folk who wanted to hang out and relax after the convention. Thanks to Jen and Rod, as well as Del and Sue, for a fun time!
