Fangoria has been the leading horror fan magazine for decades and sponsors conventions around the country. At the recent Weekend of Horrors held in Burbank, CA, BV President Ken Hall co-sponsored an unofficial after-hours party that was the talk of the show.

Other sponsors included writer/ producer/director Darin Scott (TALES FROM THE HOOD), cinematographer-turned-director Tom Callaway, effects artist Rallis, Chela Johnson, marketing director for Lions Gate Films, director Rolf Kanefsky (THE HAZING), producer Elaine Dysinger, and director Dave Parker (THE DEAD HATE THE LIVING).

Numerous celebrities were in attendance: Brian Yuzna, producer of the original classic RE-ANIMATOR (and director of its two sequels), was there with star Jeffery "Dr. Herbert West" Combs . Several cast members from EVIL DEAD showed up with Scott Speigel, screenwriter EVIL DEAD II. Duane Whitaker of PULP FICTION was there, as was Scream Queen Brinke Stevens and rockabilly icon Johnny Legend.

Other fan favorites spotted were PHANTASM star Reggie Bannister, "Curly" impersonator Patrick Thomas, and R.A. "Leatherface" Milailoff, illustrator Frank Dietz, Butch Patrick ("Eddie" from THE MUNSTERS) and Dukey Flyswatter!

There was still more talent to be spotted: directors Jeff Burr, Dan Golden, Ed Polgardy, and Kenny Yakkel; writer/funnyman Ron Zwang; makeup effects artists Jeff Farley and Chris Bergschneider; actors Jamie Donahue, Mike Todd, Ariauna Albright, & Cleve Hall.

Despite the hotel's attempt to shut the party down (Apparently, other guests complained about noise.), the festivities went on past 2!

Look for BV Entertainment to be the center of fun and festivities at future shows.
