Our favorite local convention is Monsters Among Us. In the first place, it's held TWICE a year in LA. It's a great place for fans to meet the guests in a relaxed environment. Of course, BV Entertainment's after-hours party took the relaxation to an extreme!

The show itself was filled with genre guests, including Hammer heroine and former Bond girl Carline Munro and cult favorite Sid Haig, star of the recent HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES.

Along with many familiar faces, there was a conspicuous abundance of sexy scream queens, inluding Linnea Quigley (RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD), Brinke Stevens ( SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE), and Deborah Dutch (SORORITY GIRLS AND THE CREATURE FROM HELL).

Several more first-timers at our party were Don Marshall, from the classic TV series LAND OF THE GIANTS, Ken Foree, star of such horror films as DAWN OF THE DEAD and FROM BEYOND, and Mike Gaglio, featured in THE HALFWAY HOUSE.
